As part of my goal to make sure I present myself as a reader and writer to our school community I’m planning to continue sharing book reviews. Our librarian has been extremely supportive in helping me out with this work and I can’t wait to look back at the end of the year and reflect on it further. Off to a good start.
This review is about A Splash of Red: The Life and Art of Horace Pippin written by Jen Bryant and illustrated by Melissa Sweet.
