More About Me

My name is Michael Berry and I’m currently the Director of Curriculum and Technology for the Montpelier-Roxbury schools of Vermont. Some of my stats:

– Grew up in Gouverneur, New York where both my parents were educators
– Attended Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont where I received a degree in Children’s Literature and Elementary Education
– Taught second grade and kindergarten in East Montpelier, Vermont for eight years
– Received my masters degree in Educational Leadership at Union Institute and University at Vermont College
– I was the principal of Underhill Central School for three years
– the Principal of Richmond Elementary School in Richmond, Vermont for six years
– Director of Curriculum, Communication, and Innovation for MMMUSD-CESU Schools for two years

I’m always eager to learn and have a hard time not reading educational blogs and articles around the clock. I live in central Vermont with my wife, two daughters, two dogs and two very grumpy cats.

I can be found on Twitter…often…very often…a lot…at @MichaelBerryEDU
